A Nice Explanation of Eigen Values.

In this shear transformation of the Mona Lisa the picture was deformed in such a way that its central vertical axis was not modified. (Note: The corners have been cropped on the right hand picture.) The blue vector, from her chest to her shoulder, has changed direction, but the red one, from her chest to her chin, is unchanged. The red vector is thus an eigenvector of the transformation and the blue vector is not. Since the red vector was neither stretched nor compressed, its eigenvalue is 1. All vectors along the same vertical line are also eigenvectors, with the same eigenvalue. They form the eigenspace for this eigenvalue.

A case of kiss and a slap

Bush, Manmohan, Aishwarya rai and Sonia are traveling in a train. The train goes through a tunnel and it gets completely dark. Suddenly there is a kissing sound and then a slap! The train comes out of the tunnel. The women and Manmohan are sitting there looking perplexed. Bush is bent over holding his face, which is red from an apparent slap. All of them remain diplomatic and nobody says anything.

Sonia is thinking:
These Americans are all crazy after Aishwarya. Bush must have tried to kiss her in the tunnel. Very proper that she slapped him.

Aishwarya is thinking:
Bush must have tried to kiss me but kissed Sonia instead and got slapped.

Bush is thinking:
Damn it. Manmohan must have tried to kiss Aishwarya. She might have thought it was me and slapped me.

Manmohan is thinking:
If this train goes through another tunnel I will make another kissing sound and slap Bush again.

Zindagi kat rahi hai !!!

It is one of those phrases which you can easily hear from guys these days. "Zindagi kat rahi hai..."how hopeless your life should have been...the reason might be no bandiyaa, or compulsion of regular attendance, or loads of work, or a sucking boss...whatever the reason you might attribute for your attitude, sometimes from the tone and out of blues appearance of this phrase, life doesn''t seem to be providing as much pleasure as you deserve, and it seems that suicide might be the only possible way to free yourself from this world or as a matter of fact this world from you!!! But then suddenly it strikes that this "suicide attempt" may be termed as coward, and then again you'll have to listen a lot to this asshole society. After all the probability of successfully commiting a suicide also depends on how seriously you try that, and after passing four years at one of those elite institutions that also seems to be burdensome, to try out with full vigour. So is that the effect of the hostel. Or is it just another human tendency!!!

Finally I'm blogging too!!!

I always wonder how do we define what should actually be followed and what's it that we call joining the herd. People always try to follow what others have been doing, no matter how they personally feel about it. We've even defined our ideals for that reason. Is this the human nature or has it been imposed on us by the society, or as a matter of fact, what we consider cool (or whatever its considered "nice"). Our choices are largely governed by what we see around us, and its hardly ever the case that we try to do something totally different. And those who do are termed crazy or nerds or bold. Even if something off the shelf is observed and if we find that cool, we start copying it, no matter if its really cool or it actually is crazy. Quite confusing, at least to me. Maybe thats the reason I've started blogging finally, or I actually liked this concept, or I too am trying to follow whats everybody else is going after. . System Crashed @!#$!@#$ Brain fuse blown out
